This exhibition is a study into the individuals' external performances of the roles indoctrinated within western culture, and the internal interpretations that drive them.

The illustrations are used as a tool to visually explore the archetypes depicted in the drawings and the relationship they have with each other creating a visual conversation.

The idea for this show began during the Lockdown period, we were unable to go out so I used references that I could access in my home library and my computer, thus appropriating some well-known images and some perhaps more obscure, giving a new context..

The exhibition aims to communicate with the life experience of the viewer and to question their understanding of the world around them.
